Smile Enhancement
Whitening, veneers and more, chosen around the changes you want to see.
What can cosmetic care fix?
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on the things you notice in the mirror, like a chipped edge, a stain or a space between teeth.
Over the years, teeth pick up stains, chips and wear. Cosmetic treatment repairs that damage, and we blend the work with your other teeth so it still looks like you.
Cosmetic Treatment Options
Choices for a simple touch-up or a larger change, based on your goals.
Professional Teeth Whitening
In-office whitening removes stains from coffee, tea, wine and aging that over-the-counter products often can't, and can lighten your teeth several shades.
Lightens teeth by several shades
Lifts stains from coffee, tea and wine
Teeth and gums are checked beforehand
Porcelain Veneers
Custom porcelain shells, very thin, attached to the fronts of your teeth. They can hide chips, cracks, stains and slightly crooked teeth. Porcelain holds up well against staining and catches light the way enamel does.

Tooth-Colored Fillings
Instead of silver-colored metal, we fill cavities with composite resin that matches your tooth. The repair is shaded to your natural color, so it is hard to notice.

Common Questions
How long do whitening results last?
That depends on your diet and habits. Most people keep their results for about 6 months to 2 years. Limiting coffee, red wine, berries and other dark foods, along with good brushing and flossing, helps the color last.
Are veneers a permanent choice?
In one sense, yes. A thin layer of enamel is taken off so they fit, so that tooth will always need some kind of covering. The veneers usually last 10 to 15 years or longer with good care before they need to be replaced.
Will the results look natural?
That is what we aim for. We select the color, shape and translucency of the material so the new work matches your other teeth and fits your features.
How are veneers different from crowns?
A veneer is a thin shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth, mostly to improve the look of a healthy tooth. A crown caps the entire tooth to protect one that is broken, cracked or has large fillings. We'll recommend the one that suits your tooth.
Is cosmetic treatment painful?
Most cosmetic procedures are comfortable, with little to no discomfort. Whitening doesn't require numbing. When we prepare teeth for veneers, we numb the area first so you stay comfortable.
